2014 RYDER CUP
The 2014 KWGA Ryder Cup was a 3 Man Scramble event with no handicaps used. A player draft was conducted before the event with Captains Gerry Elliott, Derek Thomson and Wayne Burke selecting their teams from the pool of entrants. The event turned out to be a route with The Big Kahonas storming the tournament with a record score of 58. They overcame a hot start from The Underdogs who began their round -5 after just four holes that included a Wayne Burke eagle on the Par 4 3rd hole. However, the tournament was never in doubt after The Big Kahonas began the Back 9 with birdies at #10 and #11.
